On July 18, runners from many countries will join the 2010 Alpe di Siusi Run.  The stars of the Kenyan marathon team, who are attending their annual training camp on Alpe di Siusi will be present!  This year marks the opening of the new running park with multiple routes designed for every ability.  If you are interested, sign up before July 16.  info@alpedisiusi.info, or contact us for more information. Now that the Dolomites are being discovered it appears that many tours within sight distance are claiming to be a walking or hiking tour of the Dolomites.  Be sure you are buying the real thing rather than a trip with a view of the Dolomites!

Mountain Bikers! 07/02/2009
 

Seelaus Tours is adding  a week of adventure and mountain biking to our program.  Very soon we will have the details available on our website.  In addition to the miles of trails available from the doorstep of your home base, this week will include an overnight ride to a mountain hut near one of the high mountain passes.  Included will be bike rental, and support vehicle for packs and service. On June 21, 2009, the Natural Park dello Sciliar, which encompasses the Dolomites surrounding the Alpe di Siusi will become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  This will guarantee that the area will continue to be protected for generations to come.  Here at Seelaus Tours we applaud this move and invite you to vacation with us on the Alpe di Siusi in the heart of the Dolomites!
